Sunstar Americas, Inc. is proactively reaching out to communities around the world, promoting a variety of oral health programs and activities. We provide toothbrushes and other dental products to oral health programs in numerous locations including the Americas, Africa and Southeast Asia. Since 1977, the Sunstar Foundation for Oral Health has provided dental treatment and problem prevention programs worldwide. In addition, we work with the World Health Organization in formulating more effective oral health policies in a wide range of countries.

Donation Guidelines

Sunstar Americas, Inc. makes donations to worthwhile charities and organizations based on the following guidelines:

All donations must be made directly to verifiable 501(c)(3) organizations whose primary focus is helping unfortunate/challenged people in the United States.  The societal good generated by the organization should be delivered through shelters, food repositories, organizations serving severely ill children, etc.

If your organization does qualify, you must submit the following information on your letterhead:

  1. Information outlining what you are requesting, what the purpose is, when you need the product, and the address of the 501(c)(3) location (for product shipment.)
  2. Confirmation of your 501(c)(3) status and your federal tax ID number.
  3. Full contact information of the person coordinating the activities at your location.

The following well-meaning activities are excluded: Missionary-type endeavors, classroom, sports, police or community events, senior bingo programs, etc.  Nor will we honor requests from dental professionals who will travel to those in need.
